Chuck brings 20 years experience in proxy solicitation and corporate governance related matters. Chuck provides advice and insight to companies undergoing proxy solicitation campaigns related to mergers and acquisitions, contested director elections and corporate governance matters. Additionally, he provided information-agent services for debt transactions and tender offers.
During his career, Chuck has advised clients on contested election campaigns including CBOT Holdings (merger with Chicago Mercantile Exchange), Saks Incorporated, Kerr-McGee Corporation, The New York Times Company, Pharmos Corporation, Taro Pharmaceutical and Wheeling Pittsburgh. He worked on M&A campaigns including GlobalSantaFe Corp with Transocean Worldwide Inc., 3Com Corporation by Hewlett-Packard Company, Panamerican Beverages with Coca-Cola FEMSA, Iowa Telecommunications by Windstream Corporation, Veritas Software Corp. by Symantec Corp., Archipelago Holdings and the NYSE, Cerulean Companies, Inc. by WellPoint Health Networks and Flower Foods Inc. offer for Tasty Baking Company.
Prior to joining Okapi Partners, Chuck worked at Georgeson Inc., which is now a Computershare subsidiary. Chuck received his B.A. in Accounting from New Jersey City University.
